This is a one-day training that explores reasons for suicidal behavior and offer a clear picture of suicide as a public health issue. At the same time, this training instructs the participants on effective ways to initiate and complete a life-saving intervention process.
Suicide is a preventable tragedy
It is important to reduce the stigma about suicide in order to eliminate the taboo associated with it. This workshop provides the tools to intervene with knowledge and confidence. It teaches participants to recognize risk factors, warning sign, and protective factors which are essential elements for a right intervention.
This approach is an evidence-based program, with excellent evaluations and supported by personal experiences that help attendees to feel confidents and ready to intervene with the suicidal behavior. The workshops are conducted on scheduled events in our training facilities or by agreement for employees in their workplace.
